Troop 808 Polo Shirts for Adults

Posted by linda.fitzjarrell on May 1 2016 - 2:21pm

ATTN: Troop 808 Adults -- We are ordering Polo shirts with the Troop 808 logo on them (red shirt, white logo) from the Green Mountain High School Print Shop. As they are unable to produce the shirts over the summer break, we will need to get them ordered ASAP. The quote we're getting for the shirts is only $14 each. If you would like us to order one for you, please email your size preference(s) to Linda Fitzjarrell, Treasurer@bsatroop808.org. We are hoping to place the order on May 6th so the students can complete them by the end of the school year.

Troop 808 Earns Gold

Posted by ahalingstad on Apr 16 2016 - 8:13pm

Troop 808 received the highest score within the Timberline District in the 2015 Journey to Excellence performance recognition program. Journey to Excellence measures a wide variety of program goals -- including planning & budgeting, membership, advancement, camping, service projects, patrol method, leadership, and training. To earn Gold, a unit must score within the gold range in at least 8 objective areas, and have at least 1,000 overall points. Troop 808 recorded gold points in 11 objective areas, and scored a total of 1,900 points.

To commemorate this achievement we will be ordering JTE Gold 2015 patches. The patches cost $2 each. Scout Account commission for Camp Cards is $1.25 (for those assisting with the Scout Show Booth), so the minimum of 2 card sales will pay for the patch! (Unless you contact Mrs. Fitzjarrell, Troop Treasurer before May 5th and opt out, each scout will receive a patch and the $2 cost will be charged to his Scout Account.)

We need YOUR help, so that we can plan successful outings. PLEASE log on to the Troop 808 website regularly and make sure you have RSVP'd for every event listed. We need to know who's going (choose Register). And we need to know if you will not be there (choose Regets). It's Easy. It's Quick. And It's Needed for planning. Thank You!

Do You Need Another Class B shirt?

Posted by linda.fitzjarrell on Jan 8 2016 - 8:57am

Is your Class B getting a little tight? Faded? Worn? Does your Mom want you to change it more than once a week - especially when you're at summer camp? Then you need to get at least one more New Class B shirt. And, best of all, they're only $8 each! Stock up now by catching one of our wonderfully helpful Adult Leaders at the next meeting. Then you can show off your Troop Pride with a bright red (not pink) Troop T. You can also pre-order shirts using the handy dandy Online Payments option on our website, or check with our Troop Treasurer if you want to use your Scout Account funds.
