Swimming or Boating at Summer Camp?

Posted by linda.fitzjarrell on Jun 20 2017 - 12:49pm

Medicine Mountain let us know that they strongly recommend Scouts and Adults that plan on using the aquatics area bring an extra pair of shoes that can get wet. Unfortunately, they have had a bunch of geese at their beachfront and don't want participants stepping directly in goose poo. We will pass along any further tips we receive.

Flea Market and Gear Swap At COH!

Posted by heather.metziner on Jun 11 2017 - 8:20pm

Troop Family,

Has your scout sprouted and now his official BSA pants look more like pedal-pushers? Your troop wants to help your scout look sharp without breaking the bank. Please bring your gently used gear and scout clothes (uniform pieces or other BSA clothing) to this Thursday's Court of Honor for our annual (occasional) swap.  For those who want to find a new home for their gently used gear but don't want to give away the farm, reasonably priced items will be accepted for sale, provided they have a price on them. If you plan to sell, be prepared to make change or accept checks. Troop 808 will not accept responsibility for the sale or the consequences of said sale. All lost and found items will be on display and those not claimed will be donated.  We need to keep our small space as free of clutter as possible so your assistance in assuring clothing and gear go home is greatly appreciated.
